What’s a Dental Emergency?
Experiencing a dental emergency can be difficult, painful and cause severe distress. We are equipped to treat and handle most dental emergencies in our practice. Our goal is to provide comfortable, calm and adequate treatment of any type of emergency you’re currently experiencing. It is important to seek help for an emergency as soon as possible to prevent the situation from getting worse.
Why is Treatment Important for Dental Emergencies?
If you forgo treatment for a dental emergency, the situation may get worse and more invasive care may be required. To prevent this from happening, it is important to call our office to schedule an appointment as soon as you notice there is a problem. Some emergencies start out relatively small and get worse over the course of a few hours or days. Other situations may come and go, getting worse with time.
What Could be Considered a Dental Emergency?
We are able to provide treatment to all types of patients, both pediatric and adult. You may be a new patient who has never been with us before or an existing patient of our practice. Some of the most common problems we see on a regular basis include:

What Happens During the Appointment for Dental Emergencies?
The key to any emergency is seeking treatment as soon as possible. This allows us to both examine the area as well as provide treatment as needed. X-rays may be necessary to help in diagnosing the underlying cause of the pain or discomfort you’re experiencing. We will provide antibiotics as needed if there is an infection or abscess present. You can feel confident coming into our practice for any and all of your dental emergency needs.
